And the winners is….?

Cathy Lowe has spent the last few weeks sending Christmas cards to people. When one of you sends cbm Canada a Christmas donation by buying a goat, wheelchair, chickens, or surgical tools for people with a disability, Cathy matches your gift with a card. That card is then sent to where you wanted it to go, telling your friend, family member, or colleague that a certain gift has been purchased in their name – helping someone living with a disability in poverty.

Cathy has been busy, and that is great! I asked Cathy what the winner was – which gift was the most popular this year. Cataracts surgery was the big winner this year, she has sent over 1,500 cataract cards alone in the last few weeks.

The reality of course is that the big winners are people – people who will receive this surgery in the next months. Let’s keep Cathy real busy for the next few days!
